The dictionary we go by.
1. A substance required by most bodies, often withheld by powerful people at strategic intervals during a sporting event or typical Monday practice, for the purpose of building character. See cowardice.
2. A substance requested only by people who are weak.
3. A reward earned through lots of suffering.
4. One of the many excuses the body comes up with to avoid living up to its own potential. See also shade, rest, lunch, the bathroom.
5. The word a coach listens for to determine which of her players aren't serious. The first player to ask for this substance has identified herself, and will run until everyone else on the team has forgotten that they were once thirsty as well.
6. What you drink after helping your little sister decorate her tree house with Peppa Pig stickers. Why would the same thing be served to warriors preparing for battle?
